Creates licensure and regulation of anesthesiologist assistants by the State Board of Medical Licensure, requiring applicants to complete an accredited graduate program and obtain current certification from the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).

Requires anesthesiologist assistants to be supervised by a licensed anesthesiologist who is actively engaged in clinical practice and immediately available on-site to provide assistance.

Mandates anesthesiologist assistants comply with continuing education and recertification requirements of the NCCAA or its successor organization.

Establishes that only licensed anesthesiologist assistants may use the title, and prohibits students from using titles such as "intern," "resident," or "fellow."

Allows the State Board of Medical Licensure to set licensure fees and adopt rules governing anesthesia services provided by anesthesiologist assistants in the best interests of patient health and safety.
