Exempts active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces (including Reserves and National Guard) who are Mississippi residents from purchasing hunting and fishing licenses, regardless of where they are stationed.

Exempts honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who are Mississippi residents from purchasing hunting and fishing licenses.

Requires exempted active duty members and veterans to possess military identification, a Department of Defense Form 214 (DD214), or other proof acceptable to the commission while hunting or fishing.

Exempted individuals remain subject to all other hunting and fishing regulations and restrictions under state law.

Effective date: July 1, 2018.
