Transfers the Office of Public Safety Planning from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety to the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, effective July 1, 2018.

The Office of Public Safety Planning retains all powers and duties previously granted by law, with the Executive Director of Finance and Administration overseeing administration and authorized to reorganize positions for efficiency.

All assets, liabilities, contractual rights, obligations, and property of the transferred office vest in the Department of Finance and Administration on July 1, 2018, and all employees become employees of that department.

Amends Section 45-1-2 of the Mississippi Code to delete the Office of Public Safety Planning from the organizational structure of the Department of Public Safety.

Amends Section 27-104-3 to add administration of the Office of Public Safety Planning as a fiscal management duty of the Department of Finance and Administration.
