Amends Section 37-3-2 of Mississippi Code to modify qualifications for local school superintendent licensure through nontraditional routes and reciprocity provisions.

Allows administrators with a master's degree in any subject area from an accredited college or university with ten (10) years of administrative, senior management or supervisory experience to qualify for nontraditional route administrator licensure (in addition to existing MBA, MPA, MPP, or JD degree holders requiring five years of experience).

Grants Mississippi Community or State Institutions of Higher Learning administrators with at least five (5) years of administrative experience the ability to obtain a standard license through reciprocity provisions.

Effective July 1, 2018.
