Ratifies agreement between Lumberton Public School District and Lamar County School District to dissolve Lumberton and consolidate into Lamar County effective July 1, 2018.

Transfers all real property, assets, tax assessments, and debt of Lumberton Public School District to Lamar County School District.

Establishes five single-member board of education election districts for the consolidated Lamar County School District with new boundaries incorporating former Lumberton territory in both Lamar and Pearl River counties.

Invalidates all employment contracts for Lumberton superintendent, administrative staff, and school personnel effective July 1, 2018, with Lamar County School District authorized to hire staff prior to consolidation.

Establishes Lumberton Attendance Center for Pre-K through 12th grade within consolidated district to serve former Lumberton students as long as operationally feasible.
