Extends the automatic repeal date of the alcohol and drug treatment pilot program in Bolivar County from July 3, 2018 to July 1, 2019.

Authorizes the Department of Corrections to contract with the Bolivar County Regional Facility for an intensive alcohol and drug treatment program serving up to 250 inmates within 18 months of their release or parole date.

Requires the program to include assessment, comprehensive treatment with relapse prevention and anger management, aftercare with transition planning, and recidivism monitoring.

Mandates the Department of Corrections file annual reports with specific recidivism data and allows program renewal if performance requirements determined by the Legislature are met.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
