Amends Section 63-3-601 of Mississippi Code to prohibit motor vehicles from continuously traveling in the outermost left lane of a multilane roadway when it impedes traffic flow

Establishes exceptions allowing left lane use for overtaking and passing other vehicles, when right lanes are closed or under construction, on three-lane roads, on one-way roads, when right lanes are unsafe or impassable, and when preparing to exit left

Classifies violation of this section as a misdemeanor punishable under Section 63-9-11

Effective July 1, 2018
