Requires children under 18 who wish to drop out of school to first take the ACT test.

Children who score below 21 on the ACT (or below 18 if from a failing school rated "D" or "F") must remain in compulsory school attendance until age 18.

School attendance officers are responsible for ensuring students take the ACT before dropping out.

Adds children who cannot achieve required ACT scores to the definition of "compulsory-school-age child" under Mississippi Code Section 37-13-91.
