Permits public school students to possess and self-apply FDA-regulated sunscreen without parental or physician authorization.

Allows volunteer school employees to apply sunscreen to students unable to self-apply if the student's parent or legal guardian provides written consent.

Provides immunity to volunteer school employees and their employers from liability for adverse reactions from sunscreen application or discontinuation of application.

Effective July 1, 2018.
