Amends Section 41-43-53 of the Mississippi Code to establish distinct criminal penalties for embezzlement, misapplication, or conversion of perpetual care trust funds.

Creates two-tier penalty structure: amounts under $1,000 punishable by fine up to $500 and county jail time not exceeding one year; amounts of $1,000 or more punishable by imprisonment in the Mississippi Department of Corrections for up to ten years.

Each violation of perpetual care trust fund laws constitutes a separate offense.

Becomes effective July 1, 2018.
