Authorizes courts to expunge case records when a person is found not guilty or acquitted at trial, in addition to existing expunction grounds for dismissed or dropped charges.

Applies the new not guilty/acquitted expunction provision to municipal courts, youth courts, circuit courts, county courts, and justice courts across multiple sections of Mississippi Code.

Amends sections 21-23-7 (municipal courts), 43-21-159 (youth courts), 99-15-26 (pretrial diversion), 99-15-57 (older guilty pleas), and 99-19-71 (misdemeanor and felony expunctions) to include the new ground for expunction.

Allows expunction upon petition to the court, following the same procedures already established for other expunction cases.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
