Repeals sections 9-21-21 through 9-21-41 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which established the Mississippi Judicial Advisory Study Committee and defined its membership, purpose, meeting procedures, and operational authority.

Eliminates statutory requirements for the Administrative Office of the Courts to provide support to the study committee and removes authorization for the committee to receive and expend appropriated funds.

Removes provisions allowing the study committee to call upon state agencies and local governments for assistance, employ personnel, and contract with public or private entities for research and services.

Eliminates per diem compensation for study committee members and the requirement for annual reports.

Authorizes the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to continue the work of the Criminal Code Consulting Group and other subcommittees of the Judicial Advisory Committee by court order.
