Requires the State Department of Education to revise achievement levels for statewide standardized assessments and establish requirements for administering English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments in specified grades.

Mandates that district-required local assessment results be provided to students' teachers within one (1) week and to parents within thirty (30) days of administration, unless extenuating circumstances are documented.

Requires statewide standardized ELA and Mathematics assessment results be reported to current and subsequent school year teachers in an easy-to-read format before the school year starts, including student performance explanation, areas of strength and improvement, available resources, longitudinal progress data, comparative information, and college entrance exam linkage data if available.

Requires "A-F" performance categories for schools and school districts to be reported on or before August 15 annually, beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.

Effective July 1, 2018.
