Amends Section 35-1-3 of the Mississippi Code to clarify eligibility requirements for the State Veterans Affairs Board's executive director and deputy director positions.

Requires the executive director and deputy director to be either a currently serving member or honorably discharged or honorably released veteran of any active or reserve component branch of the United States Armed Forces.

Allows the board to establish additional minimum qualifications for other agency positions beyond the executive and deputy director roles.

Takes effect upon passage.
