Requires the State Board of Education and Mississippi Department of Education to develop training programs and guidelines for managing diabetes care in schools by the start of the 2019 school year.

Establishes that students with diabetes should be able to perform their own diabetes care tasks at school, and those unable to do so will receive assistance from trained school nurses or other school personnel.

Requires schools to implement individual Diabetes Medical Management Plans developed by students' healthcare providers and signed by their medical team and parents/guardians.

Mandates the plan be delivered to House and Senate Education Committee and Public Health Committee chairs by December 1, 2018, including recommendations for state law changes and liability protections for school personnel.

Defines applicability to all primary and secondary public, charter, and private schools in Mississippi.
