MS SB2720

Amends Section 5-8-13 of the Mississippi Code to prohibit former legislators from engaging in lobbying activities for four years after their term of office expires.

Defines the prohibition to include any activity or function that requires registration as a lobbyist under state law.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
