MS SB2722

Requires the state flag to be displayed alongside the United States flag from sunrise to sunset at all public buildings owned or leased by state agencies, universities, community colleges, public school districts, counties, municipalities, and other political subdivisions.

Imposes salary withholding penalties on agency directors, university/college presidents, and school superintendents whose institutions fail to display the state flag as required, with the Governor directing 100% monthly salary reduction until compliance.

Authorizes any Mississippi citizen to seek an injunction in court to enforce flag display requirements and entitles prevailing plaintiffs to recover court costs and attorney's fees.

Amends school flag display requirements to comply with the new state flag display mandate under Section 3-3-15.

Effective July 1, 2018.
