Codifies Section 11-65-3 of Mississippi Code to prohibit state agencies, departments, political subdivisions, and their agents or employees from assisting with or cooperating in the implementation of federal laws or regulations created or effective after January 1, 2018.

Bars state cooperation with federal efforts that ban or restrict ownership of semiautomatic firearms or firearm magazines.

Prohibits state participation in any federal requirement to register firearms, magazines, or other firearm accessories.

Prevents state involvement in confiscation of firearms, magazines, or firearm accessories from Mississippi citizens.

Takes effect January 1, 2018.
