Amends Section 37-101-15 of Mississippi Code to increase the maximum employment contract term for university heads, deans, professors, and administrative employees from four (4) years to six (6) years.

Maintains the Board of Trustees' existing authority to terminate contracts at any time for malfeasance, inefficiency, or contumacious conduct, but not for political reasons.

Takes effect July 1, 2018, contingent upon voter approval of an amendment to Section 213-A of the Mississippi Constitution of 1890 proposed in a Senate Concurrent Resolution.
