Amends Section 91-5-35 to limit the parties required to sign petitions for will probate as muniment of title to beneficiaries of real property located in Mississippi and the surviving spouse (if not named as beneficiary).

Creates a one-year statute of limitations in Section 91-7-151 requiring all claims and demands against a deceased person's estate be filed within twelve months from the date of death or be forever barred.

Maintains the existing ninety-day deadline for claims registered after first publication of notice to creditors in Section 91-7-151(1).

Brings forward Section 15-1-49 regarding general three-year limitations periods for actions without other prescribed periods.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
