Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, and Department of Marine Resources are urged to conduct a two-year study quantifying the economic value of Mississippi's natural resources.

Study must evaluate ecosystem services including marine ecosystems, forests, urban green space, beaches, agricultural land, and freshwater/riparian buffers.

Study must evaluate ecosystem goods including water resources, minerals, agricultural products, wildlife, commercial and recreational fish harvests, timber, and fuel wood.

Study must be filed with the Legislature no later than July 1, 2020.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
