Increases the at-risk student funding adjustment in the Mississippi Adequate Education Program (MAEP) from 5% to 7% of the base student cost.

The adjustment is calculated by multiplying the base student cost by 7% and then by the number of pupils participating in the federal free school lunch program in each district.

Applies to funding allocations beginning July 1, 2018.

Requires the State Department of Education to continue determining base student costs every four fiscal years and adjusting annually for inflation and state requirements.
