Amends Section 41-59-35 of Mississippi Code to add "Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced" to the list of titles prohibited for use without proper certification.

Makes it unlawful for any person or entity to represent themselves as an "Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced" or use related abbreviations/insignia unless certified by the state board in accordance with Chapters 59 and 60.

Violation of the certification prohibition is subject to an administrative fine not to exceed $1,000.00 after due notice and hearing.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
