Authorizes the boards of supervisors of Prentiss, Tishomingo, and Alcorn counties to permit their sheriffs to expend funds from each county's Inmate Canteen Fund for additional purposes beyond those authorized by Section 19-3-81, Mississippi Code of 1972.

Permitted expenditures include uniforms, recreational equipment, gardening supplies or equipment, bedding supplies, Internet services for inmates, televisions, security cameras, and other items of direct benefit to county jail inmates.

Allows each county's board of supervisors to exercise discretion in authorizing these expenditures in their respective counties.

Takes effect upon passage.
