Reduces the Stone County Economic Development Partnership board of directors from 17 to 10 members, with representation from the Board of Supervisors, City of Wiggins Board of Aldermen, and the Mayor of Wiggins.

Ties board members' terms of office to their terms as elected officials (mayor, supervisors, or aldermen) rather than fixed appointment terms.

Allows the Board of Supervisors of Stone County to levy taxes up to 2% on hotel/motel room rental gross proceeds and 2% on restaurant gross proceeds sales to fund the partnership.

Requires the Board of Supervisors to hold an election if a tax was previously imposed without voter approval and 20% or 1,500 qualified electors (whichever is less) petition against continuation of the tax.

Removes the former requirement that the partnership submit the act to the U.S. Attorney General under the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
