Extends condolences of the Mississippi Legislature to the family of Charles Davis Pace, former Deputy Commissioner of Insurance, who passed away on June 23, 2017, at age 70.

Pace served 25 years as Corporate Director of Governmental Affairs at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi and 28 years in the Mississippi Army National Guard, retiring as Command Sergeant Major of the 213th Medical Brigade.

Survived by his wife of 50 years Kathy, daughters Jennifer Gordy and Melissa Overholt, four grandchildren, and several brothers.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Pace's surviving family, forwarded to the Mississippi Commissioner of Insurance, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
