Commends and congratulates Earl Walker, Senior Director of Government Relations and External Affairs at Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Columbus, Mississippi, as 2017-2018 Chairman of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association Board of Directors.

Earl Walker began his career in 2006 with American Eurocopter, Inc. as Senior Human Resources Manager and held various leadership positions including Site General Manager until 2013, when he was promoted to Senior Director of External Affairs and later to his current role in 2015.

Walker is a Mississippi State University graduate with over 25 years of leadership experience in international and domestic business, holding professional certifications in Human Resources, Quality, Safety, and Risk Management, including Department of Defense aviation safety certificates.

Serves on the Texas Association of Business Board of Directors, Mississippi State University Bagley Engineering School Dean Advisory Council, and BancorpSouth Advisory Board, and previously attended the U.S. Air Force War College and U.S. Army War College.

Directs the presentation of this resolution to Earl Walker and the Executive Director of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association.
