Chronicles the church's history through six pastorates, including construction of its current brick building in 1950 under Reverend Chester A. Greer and the establishment of a charter of incorporation in 1969 under current Pastor Reverend Hickman M. Johnson.

Recognizes the church's role as a blessing to the Jackson community and the State of Mississippi, and its commitment to religious education and community service.

Directs that this resolution be presented to Pastor Johnson and the Board of Elders and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
