Defines "vending machine" as a self-service machine that dispenses food upon insertion of payment or manual operation without requiring replenishment between transactions.

Defines "micro market" as an unattended, self-checkout retail establishment in building interiors with limited access that sells only commercially packaged food, whole uncut fruits and vegetables, and allows only microwave heating with no other on-site food preparation.

Exempts vending machines and micro markets from regulatory authority of the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce by excluding them from the definition of "retail food establishment" in Section 69-1-18.

Exempts vending machines and micro markets from regulatory authority of the State Board of Health under Section 75-29-19.

Effective July 1, 2019.
