Amends Section 25-15-103 of Mississippi Code to authorize counties to pay all or part of the cost of group life insurance and hospitalization benefits for county employees and their dependents.

Allows counties to retroactively apply this provision to any existing group coverage plans previously adopted.

Maintains existing limitations on life insurance coverage at $50,000 or the amount allowed by IRS, whichever is greater, and hospitalization benefits at 60% of employee income.

Permits individual employees to purchase additional dependent coverage through payroll deduction at their own expense.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
