Revises the calculation of Medicaid reimbursement for durable medical equipment (DME) and medical supplies to use 100% of the Medicare Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) Rural Fee Schedule, updated annually on January 1, with payment being the lesser of the provider's usual and customary charge or the fee schedule amount.

Exempts durable medical equipment and medical supplies from the 5% across-the-board reduction in provider reimbursement rates that applies to most other Medicaid services.

Maintains existing precertification requirements for DME and medical supplies as determined by the Division of Medicaid.

Effective July 1, 2019.
