Increases minimum salaries for public school teachers by $2,500.00 starting with the 2019-2020 school year, establishing new salary schedules based on license type (AAAA, AAA, AA, A) and years of experience.

Increases minimum salary for assistant teachers by $2,500.00 to Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) starting with the 2019-2020 school year.

Requires each school district to increase salaries of all full-time noninstructional employees assigned to schools by $2,500.00 for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

Removes outdated statutory language regarding certificated employees receiving retirement benefits from other states, replacing "certificated" with "licensed" in relevant sections.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
