Extends the deadline for the Department of Revenue to approve rebate applications under the Mississippi Motion Picture Incentive Act from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2024.

Motion picture production companies expending at least $50,000 in base investment, payroll, and/or fringes in Mississippi are eligible for a 25% rebate on base investment.

Additional rebates available: 25% for non-resident employee payroll and fringes, 30% for resident employee payroll and fringes, and 5% for honorably discharged veteran employee payroll and fringes.

Per-project rebate cap set at $10,000,000 and annual statewide rebate cap set at $20,000,000.

Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
