Brings forward Section 73-9-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which outlines the powers and duties of the State Board of Dental Examiners, for possible amendment.

Requires the board to elect a president, vice president, and secretary-treasurer annually, with only dentist members eligible for president and vice president positions.

Grants the board authority to regulate dental and dental hygiene practice, promulgate rules and regulations, issue licenses and permits, examine applicants, maintain licensee records, and enforce state dental laws.

Authorizes the board to revoke or suspend licenses, prosecute violations, employ legal counsel and technical personnel, and conduct dental office sedation site visits.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
