Authorizes medical directors of licensed hospices to prescribe controlled substances for terminal disease pain without requiring an in-person face-to-face visit with the patient before issuing the prescription.

Amends Section 41-29-137 of the Mississippi Code to add an exception to the "valid prescription" requirement, allowing hospice medical directors to prescribe without the mandatory in-person medical evaluation that normally applies to controlled substance prescriptions.

Supersedes any conflicting rules or regulations of licensing agencies regarding the in-person visit requirement for hospice controlled substance prescriptions.

Takes effect upon passage.
