Prohibits real estate brokers or salespersons from conducting business in Mississippi unless they are licensed as Mississippi resident brokers, Mississippi licensed nonresident brokers, or Mississippi licensed salespersons.

Eliminates the exception that previously allowed unlicensed out-of-state brokers to cooperate with Mississippi brokers on property transactions.

Requires nonresident applicants for real estate licenses to submit fingerprints for state and federal criminal background checks, with costs charged to the applicant.

Denies real estate licenses to applicants with revoked licenses within the past five years or felony convictions involving fraud, dishonesty, breach of trust, or money laundering at any time.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
