Removes the exclusivity of enforcement of window tint violations by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, allowing municipal law enforcement officers to enforce violations regardless of municipality population size.

Deletes the population threshold that previously limited window tint enforcement by municipal law enforcement to municipalities with 2,000 or more residents.

Maintains existing window tint standards requiring a minimum light transmittance of 28% or more, with exceptions for school buses, government vehicles, and vehicles with medical exemptions.

Preserves the medical exemption process allowing individuals with physician-diagnosed conditions aggravated by sunlight exposure to display a dashboard certificate for tinted windows.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
