Appropriates $25,179,231.00 from the State General Fund for salaries, travel expenses, and office expenses of district attorneys, assistant district attorneys, and criminal investigators for fiscal year 2020 (July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020).

Appropriates an additional $706,401.00 from the State Prosecutor Compensation Fund for assistant district attorney salaries as authorized by Mississippi Code Section 25-31-5(1).

Allocates $1,234,000.00 of appropriated funds specifically for district attorney office expenses.

Prohibits use of appropriated funds to reimburse district attorneys or staff for taxable meals consumed within their geographical district.

Requires district attorneys to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as Fiscal Year 2019, and mandates submission of Five-Year Strategic Plans as required by Mississippi Code Section 27-103-129(1).
