Appropriates $5,230,230.00 from the State General Fund for the State Fire Academy for fiscal year 2020 (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020).

Authorizes an additional $100,000.00 from special source funds, with $100,000.00 allocated from the Capital Expense Fund for matching grant funds for an Airport Firefighter Crash Truck.

Authorizes 63 permanent full-time positions for the State Fire Academy with up to a 3% pay increase to the Variable Compensation Plan for eligible employees.

Establishes performance targets of training 14,000 students at an average cost of $463.12 per student during fiscal year 2020.

Requires the State Fire Academy to maintain complete accounting and personnel records comparable to fiscal year 2019 standards and report on performance measures in the fiscal year 2021 budget request.
