Amends Section 37-9-105, Mississippi Code of 1972 to establish notification deadlines for school districts when not reemploying assistant teachers.

Requires school district superintendents to notify assistant teachers of nonreemployment on or before June 30, or within 10 calendar days after the local school board adopts the district's annual budget, whichever date is later.

Maintains existing notification deadlines for principals (on or before March 1) and teachers/administrators/professional educators (on or before April 15 or within 10 days after state education budget approval, whichever is later).

Exempts interim conservators and school boards acting on financial advisor recommendations from compliance with the notification time limits.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
