Increases the percentage of total sales tax revenue diverted to municipalities from 18.5% to 20% effective August 15, 2019.

Reduces the municipal diversion back to 18.5% if Mississippi passes any general law authorizing municipalities to impose an additional sales tax or similar tax on activities taxed at 7% or more under state sales tax law.

Applies the increased diversion to sales tax revenue collected on business activities within municipal corporations, excluding certain specified tax provisions.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
