State Department of Health shall establish the WISEWOMAN program to reduce chronic diseases in women, focusing on heart disease, stroke, breast cancer, cervical cancer, and colorectal cancer.

State Department of Health shall establish the WISEMAN program to reduce chronic diseases in men, focusing on heart disease, stroke, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, and diabetes.

Programs must provide education about healthy behaviors and risk factor reduction, conduct early screening and testing, and target populations with greatest need based on scientific evidence.

Department shall contract with public or private clinics and agencies demonstrating success in reducing chronic diseases through education, prevention, and screening.

Department shall seek and apply for grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other public or private entities to fund the programs.
