Increases minimum teacher salary by $1,000 per year for four consecutive school years beginning in 2019-2020 through 2022-2023, with the 2022-2023 schedule continuing in years thereafter.

Establishes new minimum salary schedules for each year reflecting the cumulative $1,000 annual increases across all four teacher license types (AAAA, AAA, AA, and A) and experience levels.

Brings forward Section 37-151-7 regarding the Mississippi Adequate Education Program funding formula for possible amendment.

Maintains existing provisions for salary supplements to teachers with National Board Certification ($6,000), school nurses with national certification ($6,000), school counselors with national certification ($6,000), and speech-language pathologists/audiologists with professional certification ($6,000).

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
