Authorizes county boards of supervisors to allow departments to use county vehicles and road equipment without reimbursement to other departments.

Permits boards to transfer vehicles or road equipment between county departments for a nominal fee or without reimbursement as determined to be in the taxpayers' best interest.

Requires boards to document any decisions permitting inter-departmental use or transfer of vehicles and equipment in the official meeting minutes, including the duration of such arrangements.

Effective July 1, 2019.
