Requires persons claiming title by adverse possession to notify the chancery clerk of the imminent claim at least 90 days before the 10-year adverse possession period matures.

Mandates the chancery clerk to forward the adverse possession notification to the record land owner via certified mail upon receipt.

Prohibits title from vesting in the adverse possessor unless the required notice to the chancery clerk is provided; title vests upon maturation if notice is properly given.

Applies to adverse possession claims that have not matured as of July 1, 2019, and takes effect on that date.
