Exempts the entire State of Mississippi and all political subdivisions from federal daylight saving time requirements under 15 USCS Section 260a(a).

Allows Mississippi to remain on standard time year-round instead of advancing clocks by one hour during the designated daylight saving period.

Acts under the authority granted to states by the Uniform Time Act of 1966 to opt out of federal daylight saving time provisions.

Takes effect January 1, 2020.
