• School districts with "A" and "B" accountability ratings are exempt from reporting student grades, annual legal audits of discipline plans, submitting work reports to superintendents, participating in state textbook selection, completing state surveys, and continuing education requirements for teacher license renewal.

• State Board of Education must develop a grant program exclusively for "A" and "B" rated school districts to receive funds for implementing innovative educational programs.

• School attendance officers must visit the home or residence of a compulsory-school-age child within 72 hours of an unexcused absence to consult with the parent or legal guardian.

• "A" and "B" rated school districts may provide incentives to eligible teachers including forgiveness of state student educational loans, housing assistance, and moving expenses.

• Effective July 1, 2019.
