Increases the maximum annual gross sales limit for cottage food operations from $20,000 to $35,000 while maintaining exemption from food permitting requirements.

Authorizes cottage food operations to advertise products over the Internet and through social media, though sales over the Internet remain prohibited.

Requires all cottage food products to be prepackaged with labels containing operation name/address, product name, ingredients, net weight/volume, allergen information, and a disclaimer that products are not subject to Mississippi food safety regulations.

Allows the department to inspect cottage food operation premises only upon receipt of a complaint and requires operations to provide written documentation of annual gross sales upon request.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
