Extends the deadline for the Department of Revenue to approve rebate applications under the Mississippi Motion Picture Incentive Act from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2024.

Motion picture production companies that expend at least $50,000 in base investment, payroll, and/or fringes in Mississippi are eligible for rebates equal to 25% of base investment.

Additional rebates available include 25% of payroll and fringes for non-resident employees, 30% for resident employees, and 5% for honorably discharged veterans, each capped at $5,000,000 per employee.

Total rebates per motion picture project are capped at $10,000,000, and total rebates in any fiscal year are capped at $20,000,000.

Effective July 1, 2019.
