Amends Mississippi Code sections 77-3-707 and 77-3-809 to establish that violations of the Caller ID Anti-Spoofing Act constitute violations of the Mississippi Telephone Solicitation Act.

Telephone solicitors who violate the Caller ID Anti-Spoofing Act become subject to all remedies and penalties available under the Telephone Solicitation Act in addition to other applicable penalties.

Violations of the Caller ID Anti-Spoofing Act are also deemed violations of the unlawful trade practices statute under Mississippi Code section 75-24-5.

Existing penalties for Telephone Solicitation Act violations remain: fines up to $1,000, imprisonment up to one year in county jail, or both.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
